FR 90 fire protection systems

Thermally insulated fire protection system. Structures made on the basis of the FR 65 system are characterized by fire resistance class EI30 (E1), EI60 (E1).

System characteristics:
– installation depth: 90 mm
– symmetrical construction of the profile, the middle chamber filled with gypsum inserts (between thermal breaks), for EI30, all chambers filled with gypsum for EI60
– system compatible with systems with a depth of 90 mm
– the possibility of using a double-chamber glazing unit (glazing: 20 mm – 68 mm)
-adapted to panel filling (60 mm thick panel). Panels with mineral wool filling (Up=0.57 W/m2K), panels with gypsum filling
– application of the system: internal and external development
– constructions: single and double door, fixed glazing
– maximum dimensions of the tested structure: 6000 x 3000 mm (fixed wall, one glass pane)

MC FIRE ROOF fire protection systems

MC Fire Roof is a system of fire-resistant roof skylights with REI45 fire resistance class.

The structure of the system consists of columns (rafters) and transoms (purlins), available from a wide range of MC Wall profiles. The load-bearing profiles of the structure (posts and transoms) are reinforced with suitably matched aluminum cores, which are filled and covered with protective inserts. Mullions and transoms are additionally connected with each other by means of designed pins made of stainless steel.
The system includes a wide range of masking profiles and accordingly the glass (different variants available) achieves REI45 resistance.
The construction of the MC FIRE ROOF skylight can be inclined in the range from 0° to 80° (refers to fire resistance); a gable structure is also possible, also as a vertical wall passing into a skylight (knee wall).
Maximum glass dimensions: 1300×2400 (EI30). It is possible to use glazing with a thickness of 40 to 66 mm. It is possible to use non-rectangular glass.
The maximum depth of columns/rafters depends on strength calculations and ranges from 104 to 326 mm. The maximum depth of the bolts/purlins depends on the strength calculations and ranges from 113 to 294 mm.

MC FIRE fire protection systems

A mullion-transom wall system designed for the construction and execution of light fire curtain walls in the EI60 fire resistance class.
The structure of the system is based on a load-bearing skeleton structure consisting of vertical (pillars) and horizontal (transoms) aluminum profiles with a width of 55 mm. In order to obtain fire resistance of aluminum sections, mullions and transoms have been equipped with special fire-retardant inserts – aluminum sections filled with fire-resistant mass.
The external appearance of the fire-resistant façade is identical to the post-and-beam façade; this allows us to make an optically invisible connection of the fire-resistant façade with the standard façade
Effective fire protection of our systems is not achieved at the expense of appearance; solutions proposed by Rapdach ensure maximum safety and freedom of architectural design at the same time.

Semi-structural facade system designed for designing fire-resistant facade structures.
Structures made on the basis of the MC GLASS FIRE system are characterized by fire resistance class EI30, EI60 according to the PN-EN 13501-2+A1:2010 standard.
